1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, dashboard, APIs, and fulfillment services operated by Printory ("Printory", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating a seller account or by placing an order through Printory, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use Printory. Sellers are required to provide accurate and complete information during onboarding, and to keep that information up to date.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. The Printory service
Printory offers print-on-demand production and fulfillment for apparel, accessories, drinkware, and related products. The service includes connectors for third-party storefronts (such as TikTok Shop, Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, WooCommerce, and eBay), a REST API, and a CSV importer.
Printory does not sell finished products directly to end consumers; we manufacture and ship goods on behalf of sellers who contract with us. Sellers remain the merchant of record for their own end customers.
4. Orders, production, and shipping
Once an order is received through a connector, API, or CSV import, Printory will:
- Run a pre-flight check on print files for resolution, bleed, and color profile.
- Schedule production on the relevant print line based on SKU and method.
- Perform quality control on every finished item before packing.
- Generate a shipping label with the carrier selected for the order and push the tracking number back to the originating platform.
Standard apparel production targets 1–2 business days. Cut-and-sew, tapestry, and select drinkware items may require 3–5 business days. Stated production times exclude weekends and U.S. national holidays. Shipping transit time depends on the selected carrier and destination.
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of recipient addresses provided to Printory. Address corrections after a label is generated may be billed at carrier cost.
5. Pricing and payment
Per-unit production prices are listed in the catalog and may vary by volume tier. Shipping fees, add-on charges (such as branded packaging or custom inserts), and applicable taxes are added to the per-unit price.
Payments are processed through the Printory wallet. Sellers must maintain a positive balance sufficient to cover each order before it enters production. Failed or insufficient payments will pause new production until the wallet is topped up.
Refunds for unused wallet balance are available within 12 months of the last deposit, subject to applicable fees disclosed at the time of refund.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all intellectual property rights in the artwork, designs, product titles, mockups, and other content you upload to Printory. By uploading, you grant Printory a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to reproduce, print, store, and ship that content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your orders.
The Printory brand, website, dashboard interface, and software are the intellectual property of Printory and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
7. Prohibited content and conduct
You agree not to submit orders that include artwork or product titles which:
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party (including unlicensed celebrity likenesses, trademarked logos, or copyrighted characters).
- Depict graphic violence, sexually explicit material, hate speech, or content targeting minors.
- Promote illegal activity, weapons, or controlled substances.
- Violate any applicable law in the United States or in the destination country.
Printory may refuse production for any order at our discretion. We do not pre-screen content, and we rely on sellers to ensure that uploaded material complies with the law and with any platform-specific rules.
8. Reprints, refunds, and returns
If an item arrives with a production defect that falls outside our QC tolerance, we will reprint and reship the item at no cost upon receipt of photo evidence within 14 days of delivery. Sizing, color preference, or design changes after fulfillment are not covered as defects.
If an item is returned to us as undeliverable, the recipient address can be corrected and the parcel re-shipped at carrier cost. Printory cannot recover items returned to an undisclosed address.
Because each order is produced specifically for the seller, we do not accept change requests or cancellations once an order has entered production.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The Printory service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Printory and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the service, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Printory in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Printory from and against any third-party claim, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) content you submit to Printory, (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or (c) your infringement of any third-party right.
12. Termination
You may close your seller account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe in good faith that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or that your continued use of the service poses a legal or operational risk to Printory or other users.
On termination, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will provide notice through the seller dashboard or by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
